How to Rent a Unit:

Include your credit card info to begin payment immediately and hold a specific unit.

How to Pay for a Unit:

Existing Customer Login

to view your current balance, and make a one-time or recurring payment via credit card.

(If you are creating an account, include a "Y" before vehicle (Yard) units, and just the numeric portion of your gate code.)

Mini Storage

Most units are either on the ground floor or accessible via a freight elevator, and heated.

Mini Storage security deposits are half a month's rent.

Locks are available for $10, lower cost than any retail store!

Vehicle Storage

Open air parking on gravel.

Rates are:

  • $55/mo for under 20 feet
  • $65/mo for under 30 feet
  • $75/mo for under 40 feet
  • $85/mo for 40' pull-through

Vehicle security deposits are $100.

All vehicles must be MOBILE. They cannot be towed in or on blocks.

Payment

Rent is due on the 1st of every month. We require a credit card on file, but will accept automatic bank debit info, e-transfers, or pre-payment in cash or cheque.

A security deposit of half a month's rent will be taken on all mini-storage units, and $100 on vehicle spaces.

Gate Access

Each user gets their own trackable gate code for security purposes. Gates will open (with the code) between 7am and 9pm daily.

24/7 Gate Access is available for a recurring $5 monthly charge.

Sign-up Process

Step 1: Fill out this Customer Sign-up Sheet

E-mail the Sign-up Sheet to manager@lowcoststorage.ca, along with the unit size you're looking for. If the unit is available, you'll be booked into it starting today.
Include your Credit Card for the required security deposit, faster processing through these steps, and to avoid late fees.

Step 2: Sign the Contract and Make Payment

You'll recieve an e-mail with a link to the digital contract to read carefully and sign. Your provided credit card will be run for the security deposit and pro-rated first month's rent.
Security Deposits are roughly half of one month's rent for mini-storage, and $100 for vehicle spaces.

Step 3: Move-in!

When the signed contract and payment are received, you'll get another e-mail with your unit number, personalized gate code, and directions to your unit. Then you're good to come in any time!

Availability

Units availability is always kept up to date. The following rates are without GST, they come to even $5 amounts once taxes are included.

Mini Storage units are ground floor or elevator accessible, unless marked as "Stairs Only".
Unheated Contractor units are unheated (not suitable for household goods) with gravel floors that may be dirty/have oil spills. Best for storage of cars/tools/machines/parts.
